why cant I use the microphone to search for music?

why is it no longer possible to search using te microphone on your keyboard?

just cancelled my subscription today because of that..

Spotify is all about ingenuity, the developers are always trying new things to to improve experience for its users. If I had to take a good guess I would say it's probably a bug or they might be working on a new feature to solve or replace the old system

When I click the microphone icon it says Google cannot Search in this Field
I use a Samsung Galaxy J5 and my keyboard name is smart keyboard trial
