Car Thing compatible with 2003 Honda Accord?

Car Thing compatible with 2003 Honda Accord?

I have sorta of a niche (and perhaps rhetorical) question, more particular to my car than anything else. I have a 2003 Honda Accord with a GPS system, but it doesn't come with an aux cord (that has to be put in manually). However, it has a USB port. My question is, will my car be able to read and play music with having the Car Thing plugged in to the USB? Because when I plug my phone into the car through USB, it doesn't play music. I was hoping this could be my answer instead of lifting the console up to put an aux cord in, but it seems as though I may need that to use this with my model

Hey @mlh24,

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

Some older models of onboard systems don't offer sound connectivity over USB. So I'd guess that AUX will be the best way to go.

Alternatively, you can use Bluetooth if the onboard system allows it.

Hope this info helps. Don't hesitate to reach out again if you have questions.
