A Question of Principle

A Question of Principle

I've published songs on your platform. If I end my (private) monthly subscription, will the songs

1) Stay published and searchable on your platform regardless of that user's plan

2) Not be assigned or attributed to anyone but myself

3) And remain assigned and attributed to myself if I resume my (private) subscription?

Hey @Photon123,

Thanks for reaching out.

For questions about the availability of your content, we'd recommend having a look at the Spotify for Artists Help page here. If any of your questions remain unanswered afterwards, it would be best to direct them to our Support team for Artists here. They'll happily help clear everything up.

Keep us posted how things work out. The Community is always a post away!

For your first link, no category matches.

For your second link, no category matches.

I used your second link, with a random category and sub-category, and asked the exact same question.

The question is clear and deserves a better answer than yours. Is music published on your platform, or is it kept alive by an account?

Hi @Photon123

Thank you for keeping us in the loop.

Your artist profile and the music you have uploaded shouldn't be affected by the changes made to your subscription, whether it is cancelling or purchasing it.

However, if you want more in-depth information, our folks from Spotify for Artists are the right team to answer them for you. If you already sent the message through the contact form, please keep an eye on your email to continue receiving support from them.

All the best.
