A track doesn't start to playing

A track doesn't start to playing

Hello everyone. A track of artist Eiene Polozhenie doesn't start to playing when I push the button. Just nothing occurs. Before I subscribed, when I pushed the button it was leading me to the page of subscription. I subscribed, because that looks like it is needed to listen a new track. A track still is not working. Developers of Spotify scammed me for money??? Is this a feature to get my money??? Fix it or give me a free month of premium Spotify, because this scheme looks like a very misleading. I find your that money-asking feature is not compatible with a bright sense of usage the service.

Hey there @SerjKomandirov,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community and welcome 🙂

We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing this. Just to clarify, it's not necessary to subscribe to Premium to listen to a new track - just keep in mind that on-demand listening isn't possible for free users. That's why you were given the option to subscribe, as that's a Premium feature. You can find more info in this article.

Regarding the song that you're having this issue with, could you send us the link or URI so we can test it? We'd also like you to send us a screenshot of how the song looks like on the app on your end.

Keep us posted. We'll be on the lookout.

Hey @SerjKomandirov,

Thanks for getting back in touch.

It looks like those tracks aren't available right now. We want all the world’s music and podcasts on Spotify, but availability can vary over time and between countries, depending on the permissions from rights holders (those aren't blocked by Spotify).

We add new content to Spotify every day, so if you can’t find something you’re looking for right now, it may appear (or reappear) soon.

Hope this helps. If you have any questions or need a hand with anything else, we'll be right here.

Have a good one!

Why are they not available? A reason. Because they are already on Spotify, so why I can't listening them? Many months.

Hi @SerjKomandirov,

Thanks for keeping in touch.

Availability on Spotify depends on many different factors, such as licensing agreements between the involved parties (artists, record labels, distributors, etc.) and permissions from the right holders. These agreements can also change through time and through countries - that's why some content may be available for some time in some countries and then it gets removed.

As mentioned, this can change, so the content may return to Spotify, but this isn't dependent solely on Spotify.

Hope this clears things up. We'll be right here in case you need anything else.

Cheers!
