Add Incognito Mode to listen to music without linking song to our account.

Add Incognito Mode to listen to music without linking song to our account.

So I mostly listen to English music on Spotify and right now my home screen and recommendations are perfect. My home screen contains only English music and I love it.

However, sometimes I do like to listen to Hindi songs too but that ends up ruining my recommendations and the layout gets cluttered with indian artists and there is no option of removing them either. I would really love if a good Incognito mode is implemented which doesn't link any of the music I listen to to my account. I know there is private mode but that still influences daily mixes so it's not an option.

I really hope it's implemented because I had deleted my previous account for this reason. I didn't want other language music on my home screen.

Thank you.

Hey there @NicheListener91,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community! We moved your post from Ideas to the help boards as its content fits better here.

Keep in mind that anything you listen to while having an active Private session won't affect your recommendations. We'd suggest making sure that it is active so that this kind of music doesn't appear on any personalized playlist that has been made for you.

However, this content will still show up on your Recently played section. If you'd like to see a feature that allows you to remove content from your Home screen, you might want to consider adding your +VOTE to this idea. You can also Subscribe to it in the three-dot menu, that way you can stay up-to-date with any relevant news about this.

Hope this helps. If anything else comes up, the Community will be here.

Cheers!
