Are group session counted for Spotify wrappedminutes?

I use group sessions very frequently but it doesn't reflect on my recently listened songs.

Do group sessions count to year end minutes listened?

Hi, @TangyCat,

Thanks for the post.

Songs played in a Group Session will affect only the host’s recommendations and Wrapped. With that said, if you start the session with your account and your friend adds songs to the play queue, these will influence your recommendations and Wrapped.

And everyone that wants this feature GONE or able to be disabled and removed from our user interface, especially in our CARS, is just being ignored by Spotify. This has been a huge complaint for MONTHS and Spotify is ignoring it. Jam needs to be OPT IN. I don’t want it, I won’t use it, it blocks my whole CarPlay interface in the queue. It violates my PRIVACY. Spotify needs to stop ignoring every complaint about this. I’m currently working towards prepping my personal music library so I can cancel my subscription.

My Question or Issue

If one joins a remote Spotify jam, does Spotify treat the songs you listen to any differently from songs listened to alone? Are the songs counted for Wrapped, your listening history, and recommendations? If yes, does it only count songs you personally added to the queue, or does it count all the songs listened to in the jam?
