BUG: Fraudulent metadata corrupting users' feeds (Wrong Artist deliberately tagged to gain exposure)

BUG: Fraudulent metadata corrupting users' feeds (Wrong Artist deliberately tagged to gain exposure)

Relatively unknown artist, "John Doe" e.g., would add famous artists, "Bob Dylan" or "Cher", in their  'Performers' field, even if those famous artists had nothing to do with the track. This has been happening for a while (at least a year or couple of years). So "Random Song" by "John Doe, Bob Dylan, Cher" gets filtered through to all followers of "Cher" or "Bob Dylan". "Random Song" gets played through users' release radar or other music feeds that might have the famous artists associated with it, despite that they never consented to follow "John Doe". There needs to be better ways to verify accurate metadata so users don't have a negative experience.

Can't metadata submissions with multiple artists, have their trackIDs alleged performers queried to verify accuracy or to flag incorrect artist tagging? Example: if ArtistA submits metadata for TrackA, which includes ArtistB and ArtistC as performers, do a lookup of ArtistB and ArtistC where trackID=(trackID of)"Random Song". If nothing comes up, chances are, ArtistB and ArtistC did NOT work on "Random Song". Isn't this also a violation of terms when artists upload their music?

I would love to see a fix for this..

Fraudulent artists are tirelessly releasing album after album with 10 artists tagged to them each and every week.

If you have a verified artist profile, can it not be impossible for other artists to release records on that specific profile without verification? Otherwise, it should just end up on another artist profile with the same name but not the same profile.

Millions of releases of 30-second snippet albums with the same tracks over and over are pumped out each and every day to gain false plays and corrupt music searches + release radar.
