Daily Drive Intro Segment Included in Other Playlists

I have noticed that a lot of my personalized playlists include the 7 second Daily Drive Intro segment as a song in the playlist. This gets slightly confusing as I'm definitely not listening to the daily drive at the time but have to double check that the app didn't switch me over to it without my input. I did not include the device or OS that I am experiencing this on as I have experienced it on all the platforms I use (iPhone, Mac, Alexa).

Those Daily playlists that includes intros, facts or news shouldn't be affecting the content of your personalized mixes. To keep investigating this further, could you send us the song's URI? You can get it by following the steps here. 

Also, would you mind including the artist profile link too? You can find it by tapping the artist name on the song and hitting the 3-dot menu > Share > Copy link. With this, we can take a closer look at it.

When we follow the URI link you've sent, we get to a 8 seconds segment from Daily Sports and not Daily Drive. So if we get this correctly this particular audio bit appears in other made for you playlists as well. Could you also show us where this segment is appearing for you (the personalized mix that it shouldn't belong to)? You can send another URI or a screenshot of your personalized list where this is to be seen. This will help us further investigate the situation, as we couldn't replicate it on our end so far.

You are correct that it is from Daily Sports and not Daily Drive. I'm not sure if it has always been Daily Sports or a mixture of that plus other Daily segments. Anyways, here is an example from my Chill Mix from today.

Thanks for the reply with the link and the screenshots.

We were unable to locate the short track from the screenshots in the linked playlist. Could you confirm, that you're not seeing it aswell?

The new iteration of the playlist may be the reason for that. Do you see the short segments on other playlists as of now?

Do you see them on your account using multiple devices or you see them only on the CarThing?

The Chill Mix playlist has changed since replying and no longer matches the screen shots. However, the third song in that list currently is 'It's Wednesday" from Daily Sports. Also my happy mix includes the "Up Next: News" from Daily Drive.

To be clear, I do not own and have never used a CarThing. Also I don't ever remembering listening to any daily sports related media.

Our internal teams have made some changes, so these segments should no longer appear in your personalized playlists. Could you confirm this?
