Did Spotify create new artists from my content?

Hi all, 

I've seen under my artist name that there is now variants of the name based on album names also. These are presented as separate artists.

Is this normal? Did Spotify do this or my music label?

By chance, have you looked at the Spotify For Artists FAQ? There's a couple topics there that might help with what you are experiencing. Most of the solutions do advise to reach out to your label directly, since they are responsible for sending the format to Spotify.

Thanks Bethany. Yes nothing specific on Spotify help pages but my label eventually replied and confirmed they had added multiple new 'alias' artists.
