Discover Weekly - Full of Scandinavian songs

Hello!

For months now, I have found that the odd Denmark, Norwegian or Swedish language song finds it's way into my Discover Weekly.  However more recently, I have found that the Discover Weekly playlist will refresh on a Monday and contain a dozen or more tracks in a Scandinavian area language.  Why?

I do not listen to anything from that reagion.
I click "do not like <artist>" before I play the playlist through.

There should be no trends in my history to suggest I listen to songs in those languages. So why oh why is Spotify slowly filling my Discover Weekly with them?

Attached is a screenshot of this morning's fresh list. There are so many, the discover weekly list is getting tiresome and no longer helping my "discover" anything.

Keep in mind that sometimes you might see artists that are unknown to you included in your Discover Weekly playlist since the algorithm of the feature has been designed to offer you content based not only on your own music taste. The purpose of this is to offer you a broader range of new music experiences related to your listening habits and favorite artists.  

The tracks you get on Discover Weekly may often be influenced by the music taste and listening habits of your Spotify friends or other app users with a taste similar to yours. This means the entries on the playlist might be recommended to you due to similarities with a favorite artist of yours or a band that some of your friends recently started playing on repeat. 

The best way to adjust your Discover Weekly is to keep on unliking the songs and artists you don't find fitting to your music preferences. This will make sure that with time you'll no longer see the Scandinavian suggestions you recently got.

Hi Ivan, I have been doing just that, but it doesn't seem to help.  Last week I only had one Scandinavian region song. This week, half the list is Scandinavian. The week before last, 4 or 5 songs.  It doesn't make much sense to me.

But I will continue to unlike them.

I normally find super appropriate suggestions in the "Discover Weekly". Just this afternoon I started getting music I definitely don't like, unrelated to my music taste and ......lots of nordic bands!!!!!
However, I just noticed this might be the first time I'm logged in using my work's VPN, located in the USA (I'm in Costa Rica)-

I'm guessing the Discover Weekly must suck in the USA 🤣 because I usually love it.
