Discover weekly and release radar are becoming useless?

Discover weekly and release radar are becoming useless?

Don't you guys keep getting russian music in your recommendations? I have never searched for russian music, yet 8/10 songs in Discover weekly are russian. Also I really wish there was a way to completely "delete" your listening patterns or history, so you can start fresh when things like these happen.

Hi, guys!

If you're feeling like Spotify isn't delivering the best music recommendations, don't get discouraged! There are a few things you can do to improve Spotify's music suggestions:

1. Turn off autoplay: In "Settings" on the Spotify app, select "Playback" and turn off the "Autoplay" option. This will prevent Spotify from playing similar songs at the end of your playlist.

2. Clear your listening history: In "Your Library" on the Spotify app, select "History" and choose "Clear Listening History." This will erase all of your listening history and help reduce recommendations.

3. Use the "Don't Like" option: When you hear a song you don't like, click on the "Don't Like" button to let Spotify know that you don't want to receive similar recommendations.

4. Turn off recommendation notifications: In "Settings" on the app, select "Notifications" and turn off the "New Music" option.

But remember, Spotify's algorithm is based on your music preferences, so if you want to receive better suggestions, keep listening to and saving music you like.

Don't give up on Spotify! With these tips, you can have an even better experience. Best regards and have a great day!

I want to keep autoplay on. However, I couldn't be able to find what you described in step 2. I tried this on IOS and PC, on the downloaded app. No clue where "History" should be located,as I can't see it after clicking "Your library". Every forum I searched, people said there is no way to reset those recommendations unless the app developers implement this feature.
