Strange artist uploads one track in different versions. Isn't that breaking the rules?

Strange artist uploads one track in different versions. Isn't that breaking the rules?

Hi there @evvgenia

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Hope you don’t mind us responding in English, as this is the official language of the Community. Please report any and all content you find that you believe to be unfit for Spotify by following these steps here, This will forward the information to the content team and they will investigate this further.

Thank you for helping us improve Spotify! Cheers!

Are you new to the Community? Take a moment to introduce yourself!

I just wanted to clarify, is it legal to duplicate accounts?
The author seems to be uploading his own music, so this cannot be called copyright infringement. And there is nothing offensive in his tracks.
Another thing is that he is trying to gain listeners by multiplying accounts, if everyone starts using this vulnerability, spotify will be littered with the same tracks that do not carry any artistic value, among which it will be difficult to find something qualitative.

Hey @evvgenia,

Thanks for getting back to us.

This behavior indeed can be considered as fraudulent but as we mentioned earlier, our Content report teams will need to take a look at this and dig deeper.

We'd suggest that you follow the steps in the article that @Joan linked and report the issue you've spotted.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any questions.
