Enhance button is gone, no explanation, poor support

There are a few other threads talking about how the enhance button is gone but I thought I would start a new one a) to help get the message across louder and b) to complain about the lack of explanation or proper support about this.

I am a premium customer and asked support about the button disappearing.  I only got generic copy-and-paste responses about sometimes you will see features that your friend doesn't, or some features are temporary.  None of them answered my question of was this specific feature discontinued, and if so why?

Also, without a proper notification or announcement, I and I'm sure many others have trawled the internet trying to find a solution, wasting lots of time doing clean reinstalls, changing devices, retarting devices etc. etc.  They could have just told us that the feature had been removed to save us a lot of hassle.

Hi Nathaniel, how are you? Hope so! Well, here in Brazil the button is called "Enrich" and it still exists. There must have been some error, try to update your Spotify App and or reinstall it. I hope it all right. Strong hug!

Hi Geovane, thanks but that is the problem - even a clean install doesn't work. They just removed it - perhaps from the English language latest update or the update for my part of the world - without any warning or explanation. It has got a few people steamed - like giving a baby a lollipop and then taking it away! Enjoy the feature while you have it, they could take it away any moment.

The button is not visible on any of my playlists (liked songs, daily mixes, playlists created by others or myself) on PC, webplayer and Android app.  I particularly liked having it with my liked songs, so I could listen to them but also get random new suggestions that I would probably like (i.e. working similar to the daily mixes).

Could you ask a friend/ family member to log in with their account on one of your devices and check whether the Enhance button appears? Since it's missing on all your devices, this could be an account related issue, and this is the best way to check.

Is it a premium-only feature?  I am the only one in the family who has a premium account.  I created a new (free) account on my PC and have logged in on both the PC and phone, still no enhance button.

We can confirm that this is a Premium feature. Do you maybe have a friend with a Premium account that can test it out on one of your devices?

On another note, does this occur in one specific playlist or multiple playlists?

Hello Jeremy,

Unfortunately I do not know anyone else with premium Spotify.  I cannot see the enhance button on any playlist.  I think it was only in my liked songs that I saw it when I did have it.

If this is a feature that I am meant to have as a premium customer, I am not receiving a service that I am paying for so Spotify should sort it out ASAP.  Can I get this elevated so someone can solve this problem for me?

The feature to enhance the Liked Songs collection through a button was a temporary one.

We're constantly trying to improve the user experience on our platform and are testing out new things.

We hope to see the Enhance feature fully implemented for the Liked Songs collection some day aswell.

The availability of the feature to enhance playlists is currently limited as it is a feature we're testing and polishing.

We hope to see this feature available to everyone on our platform some day.
