Every Podcast episode marked played showing never started in Listening History

My Question or Issue
Usually, after an episode is finished, it gets marked as played with the green check mark, same in listening history. However, recently when I click on “listening history” EVERY single episode’s status bar/time bar shows NOT played, at all. Goes for my entire viewable LH. I’ve already signed in & out, removed app, redownloaded app. Checked my other attached account in my family plan, his does not do this. Logged in on another device, same issue.The annoying this is- I should be able to go my listening history, find an episode, click on it, add it, restart it, mark it as not started, whichever, WITHOUT it playing when clicked. When I go to click it though, because it’s showing in LH as NEVER started, it will start to play, from beginning, completely screwing up my queue (by skipping current episodes) and stopping whatever I’m already listening to, to start playing what I clicked. So I have to go to Home, Click My Podcasts, Find the Podcast (I have so many) find the exact episode, click the 3 dots, THEN re-add the episode. I used to be able to click on any episode that’s finished from history, then readd it, start it over, and now I can’t. It thinks I haven’t listened to a single thing.

Thanks for reaching out and for explaining your issue in such detail.

 

The way we understand it is that the podcast episodes that were marked as played show up as unplayed in Listening history. Does the same apply for unfinished ones?

 

Can you send us a few screenshots of how things look in the other account in your plan and let us know the device model, OS version and Spotify version they're using?

 

Also, can you elaborate on the way things worked prior to this change since we're not sure we understood you correctly?
