Hey!
I faced an issue.
Spam releases have reached a new level.
Now they are masking as your artists and pasting their music. It affected mostly metal and metalcore bands. I asked my relatives and I'm the only one who's having this issue. Any ideas or maybe has the same problem?
Today I realized in "News" list that some songs assigned to my favourite artists are not from them with same cover image. I attach the examples
can confirm, there is even more artists:
ERRA, Northlane, Make them Suffer, Fit for a King, The **bleep** wears Prada, While she sleeps, Caliban, Our Mirage.
most of them share the same "album picture". definetely something spotify should investigate
You are not alone in this.
All form of metal and core it seems
I got a load as well, not first time some faker has used an artist name but has been a while, but this is the most I've seen
Same problem here
This is a fake AI generated song that has been posted as being released by Fit for an Autopsy. I understand AI music being released as new fake artists, but the fact this was released with the official artist tag is concerning

Here's a playlist with more affected artists

Yesterday I woke up to 6 spam songs, today there was 19 more 😣
@spotify
Do something about it...
Wild that Spotify has nothing in place to prevent this from happening. These are not small artists being affected.
Yup fake garbage spam in my feed as well from a bunch of metal bands. Hopefully spotify can find some way to prevent this cuz this is annoying
I faced this today. They all have the same source: VibraTech Musicions
Hey everyone!
Thank you for your messages reporting this.
We appreciate all the info, screenshots and videos you have included in your previous posts. In order to send all the relevant details to the relevant teams and continue investigating this, would you mind including the link/URI to take a better look?
Also, since @alxndrunttld mentioned it could be related with VibraTech Musicions, could anyone else check if all the affected releases are from the same source?
Lastly, would you mind confirming if those releases are located on the What's new section or in your Release radars as well?
We'll be on the lookout.
Today I checked the “What’s New” section and the Release Radar, and there were no signs of AI-generated music 🙂
Can we please get an update regarding what action was taken, and measures being implemented to prevent this from happening in the future ?
There's now albums being posted by Annie and Clinic which are also fake. Label called Ancient Lakes. Spotify really don't care how much artists get gouged so long as they can meep the micropayments rolling in, do they?
Dude, why is no one making an issue of this? Its going to add up, and will destroy the platform? Thats why im here, and ive been in the communities who are doing this, just mass uploads, and the distributors allow it!? No ones going to subscribe if its all this low effort **bleep** they can go make themselves. I even tried speaking to them in their reddit, its all little kids, of course calling me a boomer (27 years old) who sucks at music, **bleep** like that. Theres a new version coming, and its all this platform will be, and all anyone will bother doing.
bro i have found hundreds. Messaged support, they acted interested got my links, and never heard back
Hey man i just made an account to come on here about this, its bad. Not the same source, there are not only videos on youtube on how to mass distribute to try and turn a profit, but very large communties, doing this night and day. Ive reached out to distributors, and they say its completely ok to do, as much as you want... You have to see this will destroy spotify, right? Unfortunatly im in the middle, i beleive in AI as a tool, but not copy paste, low effort garbage. These kids are ruining it for for both parties. If you want to find hundreds. check out reddit - suno , reddit music promotion - facebook, any music promotion. Youll begin to be able to notice immediately. Its art, you cant fake it. I even tried to go on and say "hey guys, you need to be more responsible with this, your oging to destroy some large companies or damage them, so you can play musician" but they dont care, it was kids, apparently 27 is a boomer... Once this is all used up they will just move on to the next thing
Hey there you, Yeah, you! 😁 Welcome - we're glad you joined the Spotify Community! While you here, let's have a fun game and get…
