So this is my last stop, I guess if no one cares, why should i? No effort, low quality AI music is diluting the quality and rep of this, and other platforms .Honestly, im very interested in AI music, but as many know, ALOT of people only care about trying to play pretend musician, and upload hundreds if not thousands of songs daily through willing distributors. And now, its coming into my random playlists, more and more, and you can obviously tell it wasnt even listened to by the person. Its **bleep**, someone trying to make a quick buck at the expense of the music industrty. Like i said, i beleive in AI as a powerful tool but at best, only one step of several to reach an artistic goal. Earlier i tried to speak to that community of people, and was met with very rude and childish attitudes, even though i was calling people to act as pioneers of a new technology , to respect the time it takes for it to be embraced by artists who put their lives into this. And was told to basically "f*ck off boomer". even tho im 27. So am i being overdramatic? Is the fact that 4 meaningless songs are going to be added for one well thought out one? That wont drive people away? There are literally videos on how to mass distribute on youtube. And there too naive to understand they wont make money, they will only destroy the quality and reputation of platforms like spotify. Like this music is reallllly bad. Someones gonna be listening to the beatles or something then some meaningless song about neon shadows that sounds like drake in a tone like the beatles will play next. People will unsubscribe, seems like a pretty logical trajectory.
Can we get a report button, for a low quality song? or is there one available? Many dont even find there own cover art, just copy what the website made with the song. Researching this ive discovered that many distributors told me its ok to distribute as many as you can or want (can provide if needed)
Im new to music, and i truly enjoy it, i know illl never get rich, or famous, thats naive as well. But i do get upset those added songs may get in the way of a new fan listening to something i put work into. I dont want this to be ruined, music literally saved my life, got me out of some bad stuff. So if anyone can can calm my grounded fears, or offer a solution i would greatly appreciate it! Also can give hundreds of links to these if needed, you dont have to look far.
*ive contacted spotify support chat, ive asked distributors, many openly say you can distribute as many ai song as you please. And have the emails if needed. This is not going to end well
