How can I reset my personal data?

My kids have been using my Spotify account instead of their own, so now I’m getting suggestions and seeing artists I hate. Can I wipe out the data that generates suggestions and start from scratch without having to create a new account?

Hey there, welcome to the Spotify Community! You cannot refresh the suggestions for the account but here are two things you can do:

1. If you keep listening to different items then it will automatically update the recommendations for you. You do not have to manually do anything in this case.
2. If you really want to start from scratch then you have to create a new account and transfer your library to that account. In this way, you can have all your saved and created content as well as a fresh account. Make sure to head over to our chat support and let them know this (you can just share a link to my reply and they will understand). They will be able to help you out and clear any further doubts you have regarding this move.
