My Question or Issue

I believe I may have encountered an issue where an audiobook wasn't uploaded correctly. I'm currently listening to a book and there are a few tracks that stop near the end and start over at the beginning. At first I thought it might have been a Spotify app glitch where the track was physically starting over but that isn't the case. After looking at the track progress, it progress as it should, but the recording from the beginning is recorded over the ending. I could see the progress where it was near the end of the track with maybe five minutes left and those last five minutes seem to be overwritten or recorded over by the earlier part of the track. Essentially this means that I'm missing out on the end of chapters and the recording from the beginning of the chapter is playing instead.

This has happened on both my mac and my mobile app. I've updated both etc. etc. It truly seems like it was a recording or upload error, but I don't see any way to flag or report so that it can be fixed.

Hey @walkersb2,

Thanks for reaching out.

Does this affect all audiobooks you're listening to or only some?

If you can share the links to them (or the names if you can't share a link), I can check if that's something that can be reported, but Spotify usually publishes content the way it is delivered fo them 🙂
