I found an album on Spotify 'web' but cannot find it in app

You can also paste this link in the app's search bar and hit Enter - this will open the album in the app as well. But in any case, it looks like the album is currently unavailable. As much as we'd love to have all the music in the world on Spotify, the content may vary over time and between countries. This depends on permissions from rights holders.
 

Hopefully it won't be too long before the album becomes available again. In the meantime, you can import local files to your Spotify library.
