Keiko Matsui Deep Blue not seen

Keiko Matsui Deep Blue not seen

I have a Spotify account in the Philippines.  Someone from the USA sent me music from Keiko Matsui and I don't see it.  I don't see her entire album "Deep Blue"!  Whats up?

Sometimes, you might notice that not all songs are available on Spotify in every country. This happens for various reasons, and I'll break it down for you.

One big reason is that music availability is influenced by agreements made between Spotify and different people involved in the music. These people include the artists, songwriters, music publishers, and record labels. Sometimes, these agreements limit where a song can be played.

One key factor is copyright. Songs are protected by copyright, which means that the people who create the music have certain rights over how it's used. These rights might include where the song can be played and who can use it. So, if a song has different copyright owners in different countries, it can lead to different availability.

Another thing to consider is that some songs might have been released under special agreements. For example, a song might be available only in certain countries where the artist or the record label have made specific deals. This could be due to cultural differences or market strategies.

Remember, it's not just Spotify that faces these challenges. All streaming platforms need to navigate these agreements and rights. So, even though it's disappointing when a song you love isn't available in your country, it's usually because of these complex agreements related to copyrights, releases, and authorizations that vary from place to place.
