Hello:

What device and Spotify app version do you currently have? You might try uninstalling the old app, and do a phone reboot, and then download a new Spotify app version from the app store on your device?

Edited to add also what phone provider do you have, so I can maybe ask around if there is anything unique or special in the way the phone carrier partnership might be running here?

I have deleted my spotify app and tried downloading it again but it won't accept my email it says it has been takin and I'm running a 64 gig Samsung Galaxy s6

Hello:

What happens if you just type in the user name without any email address information and then the current password, can you then get into your Spotify account that way on the device?

Example - MyUser and MyPassword, do not put any @ symbols, or ,com's, or ,nets after your user name, just in case you used the same information from an email address as for the Spotify account username.

I to have this same problem, my previous contract it worked fine, as soon as I connected to my new one it went....says I have to pay. Same number and everything

Hello:

I replied to your other post about your Vodaphone account issues with regard to Spotify premium, please check into it for a possible solution to your issue.

I have some sort of spotify app and uninstalled it and downloaded it again witch is the app i had from day one with my new phone and can still play my play list but can not offline and also I have like 90 songs on my play list and try to play shuffle and I hear like maybe 20 songs over and over. I'm with fido

Yeah the whole idea of replacing you phone is bad enough but then to have this " free app" for 2 years and it not work worth of yeha and bla bla is not a very good way to spread the word of spotify lol at first I started to tell lost of people about it but now I say don't EVER PAY for spotify and I do carpentry and we listen to music day in and day out even at home so

Hello:

What we can do is escalate this issue for you, and have a Spotify mod look into this and see if this can get corrected. The Spotify mods are rather good with getting things fixed for users when issues like this arises. So hang tough a little longer and we can get this corrected, OK?

Thank you very very much I was just about to get rid of everything the phone and the whole works but I'll wait a bit longer, not having luck with my phone, fido, spotify, an the reason for getting any of this is due to my 6 year old son being diagnosed with leukemia on his birthday last year so if it wasn't for him getting sick this phone would of been a no no lol he's doing good now though. Thanks again for all the attempts to help👌👍👌👍👌👍👌👍

Ok a Spotify mod got back to me rather quick. I know this seems like a bit of going in circles but because this is account related users are advised to contact Customer service with major account issues.

"Please get in touch with Spotify via the contact form. If you get an email back directing to the support forums, reply back to that email even if it is from noreply, and the support team will be able to take a look at your issue and you'll hear from them shortly. Spotify users can also contact Spotify customer support as well on Twitter with the @SpotifyCares handle, or on our Facebook page."

If you can do that through those contact methods CS can get this straightened out.
