will we ever see mixtapes by artists such as hip-hop artists on spotify? i mean will spotify only host official albums

Four years later and still nothing? At least let us integrate music from our phones to personal play lists so we don't have to switch apps to hear the audio dope Curren$y drops 3+ times a year.

The answer to this question sounds like a cop-out and a terrible excuse. Why can I stream mixtapes on iTunes Music and why is Spotify missing sooo much licensed music from labels? Why did Spotify stream unlicensed music when it initially launched, but appears to play it safe legally now?  Why are we able to listen to podcasts and other media that is freely available online but not mixtapes? Shady excuse… what’s the real reason Spotify doesn’t allow mixtapes to be uploaded by artists?
