Modifying a Currently playing playlist by someone else.

Modifying a Currently playing playlist by someone else.

Can I add more songs to a playlist while someone else is already listening to that same playlist on another location? Or will that interrupt their listening even if I dont play that same playlist but just add more songs on to it?

Ah yes, the other listener would be doing so from his own account. as the playlist owner I would be modifying it by adding more songs onto it. But want to know of that will interrup the other user listening to my playlist.

Hey @Evorsor

Thank you for your question 🙂

No, I don't think adding songs to the playlist will interrupt the listener's session in any ways, even when they're listening to the same playlist you're adding music to. It would be super inconvenient for collaborative playlists if it did!

Just little notes regarding the web player (open.spotify.com) - It doesn't automatically update playlist contents, so occasionally, when new content has been added to the playlist, I've ended up listening to music that is in the playlist, but I simply can't see these newly added songs until I refresh the page. 🙂

Let me know if you have more questions on this or anything else!
