Why does Spotify recommend concerts in a city that is 10 hours away from my home

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome. 

We'd like to add some insights. Keep in mind that we show concerts and send recommendation emails to fans based on where they live, who they follow, and who they listen to. In that sense it's possible that you're seeing a recommendation from an artist you listen to, but is not performing in your city/town rather than in the nearest city to yours. 

That being explained, you can check the concerts in your town by going to search> Live Events. There, you find some filters:

Make sure the correct city is set in the location filter.
