Hi,

I regularly try to improve the Spotify experience by adding, correcting and syncing lyrics via Musixmatch.

Could anyone provide me any REASONABLE explanation for why around 50-70% of my lyrics contributions (adding and syncing lyrics) via Musixmatch would never show up in Spotify?

I closely follow the strict guidelines of Musixmatch, and I even get points after making submissions and a message stating that the corrected/added/synced lyrics would need some days to show up in the third-party platforms (like Spotify), but they won't show up, or the changes won't be implemented. I dug through the FAQ regarding the issue, didn't find anything that would account for this possible error. Where is the core of the error located, on whose side?

Musixmatch's customer service is basically non-existent, there is no way to contact them via e-mail. Their Contact us form is worthless. They don't have chat suport and I'm unable to join their so-called Musixmatch Community, since I haven't managed to find a way to do that. I think this issue is related to Spotify as much as to Musixmatch.

Unfortunately, Musixmatch is completely unrelated to Spotify, so it's very doubtful that someone from their staff gets to read your message.

Unfortunately it does not help. What you suggest presumes I don't have an account. But as I put it above, my problem is with my contributions which, of course, can only be made by someone who already have an account on Musixmatch.

You mentioned you were unable to join their community, so the first step was to create an account. Of course, if you already have one, you should be able to join their Slack, which seems pretty straightforward.

I haven't done so myself, since I don't contribute there. All I'm saying is that no one from Musixmatch checks around here. 🙂

I appreciate your help and sorry for the heated tone. It's so strange as I thought it was going to be very easy to join the Community. In other words, I'm unable to find a forum (I guess that'd be the Commuity) where I could report problems or get in touch with other members of the Community. I joined the Slack and created my workspace (that's was the only way to join the Slack). But in my so-called workspace I can only browse channels created by me 😑 (I created none), can't find anything else there, and I was even told that this is the normal behaviour. Maybe I'm too clumsy, but this is anything but straightforward (though it pretends to be). Even when I followed the steps hinted in the link you provided, the outcome is not what the final screenshot represents, there are no channels to browse. And I cannot reach out to like anyone to give me proper advice (apart from you, now). It seems to be a deadend.

It's very intriguing. I took a second look at the link you sent me and followed the steps. I don't know what I could have created earlier when I joined the Slack, but this time with your hints I can see the publi channels in the app and via the browser too (the Slack can be accessed in these two ways) A million thanks to you 😚!  I never thought I would get technical help regarding Musixmatch via the Spotify Community.

Let me come in here and help you out, I'm a lyrics curator on MusixMatch, unfortunately, Spotify can't help you out in this case, if you were able to get in contact with Cari, the community support team at MusixMatch she could be able to help, which of your songs do you need this fix on, I could help verify your account and resync the songs for you, do you mind sending me the Spotify link?

Thanks for your help. It would be nice if you could verify my account. You don't need to resync the songs, I guess, as I already synced them. They just need to be published. Don't feel pressed to verify all the lyrics to the following songs, but I'd be glad if you could do a few of them:
