My taste-profile is ruining my Spotify experience.

My Question or Issue

My taste-profile seriously ruin most of the playlists. I understand why my taste-profil should have impact on Discover Weekly, Release Radar, Blend, Daily Mixes etc.

BUT, it shouldn't affect every single playlist I find on Spotify. I find 40+ exact same songs on various playlist. Sure, I like these songs, I must have since they are on every playlist I am contemplating playing, but when I put on All Out 80s or 10s Pop Rock, it should be a default list. At least I should have the opportunity to turn of my taste-profile for these. And don't suggest that I exclude these playlists from my taste-profile. This is not the issue. The issue is that want to be able to listen to playlist that are not affected by my taste-profile.

The other problem that this does, is that these same songs that are on almost every playlist, is affecting my taste-profile going forward. This is an evil circle and I hope that there is a fix or an update with either my taste-profile not affecting playlist other that those that are supposed to recommend song or at least the ability to turn it on/off on various playlist.

Please, please, please help...

I have this very issue too. I like to go on radio play on certain songs when I’m in that mood and especially when I don’t have a playlist set up with that kind of music (i.e say I want to listen to some og rap like nwa or wu tang) and it will start throwing in Another Lover, or Reggae songs etc. from my main playlist. Needs fixing. Never used to be like this

It also affects my ability to hear different songs in the playlists I make. I want a true random shuffle.
