New Release section is not updating!

My Question or Issue

I noticed it a couple of months ago, but when I tap on Browse and go to New Releases, it does not show me the latest albums and singles released on Spotify. The last set of tracks it shows me are from the first/second week of March 2021 and hasn’t updated since.

However if I go to my Release Radar, there I see all the new tracks of my favorite artists and genres.

The right teams at Spotify are aware that there are some issues with the New Releases section in a few countries.

In Georgia, the last update was on May 22, 2022. Can you please tell me when we can expect a decision?

It has been more than 8 months and new albums and singles are not updating in Turkey. However only Miley Cyrus album is added 2 weeks ago. If this could be done, then where are the others. This is not a charity, we pay for this service. And you must help us, not slur over.

I have the same issue, the albums and singles have not been updated since January 20.

I have exactly the same issue. 'New releases' tab isn't updated since spring 2021. The issue is actual for all platforms (web, desktop, mobile).

I am not really sure if this is an idea or a help issue, but as of this writing the most recent album in the hip-hop new releases was released on June 26th.  Past that one album, it appears to only show albums from April 19th or earlier.  I cannot tell if this is a bug or if Spotify collectively really believes that there has been precisely one hip hop release of any significance since April 19th, more than four months ago.  Maybe it's just a super dry-spell for rap and I'm severely mistaken, but that doesn't seem like it can be right.  I rely on this New Releases section to find precisely that; new hip hop releases.  You can even include every single album with over 10k listens in the hip hop genre, or just flat out include every single album self-designated as hip-hop, that would be fine too, but for the system to tell me there has been no rap since April 19th... is a little frustrating.
