New albums and singles is not updating

New albums and singles is not updating

The new albums and singles is not updating since April… i can see new tracks on release radar but no new albums as before.

I have already tried to log out, to reinstall the app but nothing has changed

Please advise

Hey @golangafni, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Are you an artist on Spotify, or are you referring to an album made by an artist that's not updating?

 

If you're referring to an album you're seeing that should be updated, can you let me know the name of the album and the artist's name, and also send me a screenshot of what you're seeing? That way I'll take a closer look. 

 

The more info I have, the more I can investigate and look into this for you.

Im not an artist on Spotify, I’m just a user who used to find out what’s new in this new albums and singles section and for the past months nothing is updated there.

 

Here is a screenshot which shows that the latest albums are from April 18… New albums from artists I follow or that Spotify recommend (like for example the last one by Kings of Convenience) that has been published in the last 3 months are not showing here. It’s the same in all the devices i use. I see the same albums over and over again.

I also tried to make a new free account with a new username but still it’s the same situation.

There isn't anything that can be done about this, unfortunately, and there is some more information about this here and here regarding this.

 

The second link is a page to an Idea where Spotify keeps everyone updated, which sounds similar to what you're describing - is that what you're experiencing? If yes, please head over there to add your details, so that Spotify has all the info in one place.
