Old Bands Searched for and Found.

Old Bands Searched for and Found.

Hi everyone!!!

This is my first message in the Community. I love Spotify!!!

I have searched for and found an old band I used to listen to, aeons ago..... Rare Earth. Although listed, a lot of the tracks do not play .

Would anyone have any idea why this happens and ideas on how I can rectify my problem?

Thanks so much,

Jenny,

Hi @PoppetsGranny09,

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community!

I was wondering if the unplayable tracks are greyed out for you? If so, it means that this music is currently unavailable in your country.

Availability of music can vary over time and between countries according to licensing agreements between Spotify and rights holders, such as artists and record labels.

Spotify adds new content every day, so if you can’t find something you’re looking for right now, it may appear (or reappear) soon. In the meantime, you can import local files to your Spotify library if you have this music as files on your computer.

Let me know if you have any other questions, and have a good day!

Hi Trey,
Thanks so much for your reply. The tracks that won't play are not greyed out (I am in Australia). There are none that have been, some will play, some not.
Thanks anyway,

Jenny.

Hi @PoppetsGranny09,

Thank you for your reply!

I first recommend trying the steps provided in this support site article, if you haven't already.

If these steps don’t resolve your issue, can you let me know whether this occurs when using Spotify on a different device? If not, I would recommend trying a clean reinstall on your device by following these steps.

Let me know how it goes, as well as if you have any other questions.

Have a good day!
