Playing Blocked/Restricted Artist

Hi I am Premium User from Canada, I use an iPhone 11 and desktop to stream Spotify 

I have blocked/restricted an artist that I don’t wish to play on my Spotify and removed all there songs from my playlist. I have checked my playlist multiple times, and have hidden songs shown, yet sometimes even offline Spotify will play a song of theirs that I had removed the download or never had on the playlist. 

How do I correct or prevent this?

Thanks for getting in touch about this and welcome to the Community. 

Just to confirm, have you blocked the Artist by going to their Artist page > tapping on the 3 dots: 

And then, selecting the "Don't play this artist" option?: 

Also, do only the songs you downloaded play or any song you stream from them as well? 

Note that the "Don't play this artist" feature doesn't affect songs where the artist is featured, only the ones where they are the main artist.
