My Question or Issue

I've lost the ability to sort songs within a playlist. It will only play oldest first or shuffle. I prefer playing from recently added but option to sort once in the playlist has gone. Please help!

Thanks

Hey @YasminL29,

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

You should be able to find the sorting options within a playlist by scrolling down on its interface. There, next to the search bar, you'll see the button sort:

It's expected though, to not see this option when the Smart Shuffle is on. If you have enabled smart shuffle, switch it off. That should do the trick.

If after the above you don't notice any difference, would you mind sending us a screenshot of what you're seeing on your side? Please also send us the exact make/model and OS of your mobile device, along with the Spotify version you're running there.

Keep us in the loop!

Good day @YasminL29

I just checked it out on my own Samsung. It seems the sorting option disappears when smart shuffle is turned on.

Can you confirm if this is the case on your side.

If so, you only have to turn it off and sort the playlist.

Take care 🎼
