Can you please remove the Facebook banner on desktop app for windows 10? I don’t want to connect to Facebook from my Spotify account. There is no way to close this banner.

Hi there @Vityr,
Thanks for reaching out about this.
We'd suggest that you head over to Settings > Display > See what your friends are playing and make sure this option is toggled off. After that, restart the app and check if that makes any difference.
If it doesn't, would you mind sending us the exact make/model, operating system and Spotify version of your device?
We'll be on the lookout.
Hello @Slimchances1980,
Thank you for reaching out here in the Community!
There should be an arrow that allows you to close the window. It looks like this:
If you don't see it, you can try resizing your window with keyboard combinations ctrl and + or crtl and -.
You can also try turning off (and back on, if you're interested) Friend Activity panel.
If none of those suggestions were helpful, I'd recommend performing clean reinstall of your Spotify desktop app. Just find your device in this article and follow the steps provided there.
Let ma know how it goes!
I know you do not work for Spotify but maybe you have some other ideas I am not thinking of. Tried fresh install and going through all my settings. Still there is not an option to remove the banner. I can keep it in a window and adjust the size to hide it but that is just hiding the issue rather than fixing it.
There is no arrow to remove the panel. I run the app on Windows 10.

That fixed it, it was the "See what your friends are playing" option.
Thanks for the quick response and fix.
