Separate Artist with Same Name

Separate Artist with Same Name

Hi,

I had my first digital distribuited song published on Spotify three days ago but it has been referred to a wrong artist with my same name (DeLarge). At the moment there are two artist pages with that name, I would like to have mine too (a third artist page called DeLarge).

Tanks for your support

Hey @delarge29

I suggest you contact artist support about this:

https://artists.spotify.com/contact

From the dropdown menu select "there is music on the wrong artist page"

Isn't there a page for normal users to do this? This should really be something that is built into the Spotify interface.

Especially in my release radar, this happens all the time. It seems small shitty hip hop bands have a habit of reusing band names (Venom, Euzen, Exodus, L7 just to name those on my release radar this week). Its getting more and more frequent, starting to look like a strategy to boost listens.
