Songs becoming unavailable after months of listening

Songs becoming unavailable after months of listening

I've added a few songs to some of my playlists that have become "grayed out". These titles are not available for listening anymore, at least where I live. Why that sudden change?

Most recent example is "Harvey Danger- Flagpole sitta". I added the song in July, and, since I haven't heard the song in a while (maybe a month), checked on the playlist to see it's now grayed out...

Hi. Well there may some licensing issues between artist/record label and spotify. Maybe the license expired and they're working on a renewal, sometimes it happens. The only thing we could do is wait for them to resolved all licensing issues and it's very likely they will become available again, unless the specific artist does not want to publish his music on streaming services, there have been some cases too.

Since they may not become available, again, I think my idea would supplement, this problem. Knowing, that we can add songs, from local files just shows how buying C.D.s and songs, from iTunes is a big help and starting, to consider Spotify more, of just another music player is more, of a reality, when songs start coming off, of Spotify. Check it out and five me Kudos, so it can get implemented. Spread my idea, through social media, too.

It seems like songs become unavailable automatically after the license expires, without manual intervention from either Spotify or the rights holder.
