Spotify Desktop App messes up my playlists!!!

My Question or Issue

My Spotify playlists randomly change the order of songs, I'm tired of rearranging them, all since I got the new desktop version, which I hate, please fix it, or bring the old version back.

Could you confirm if you still observe this happening after a clean reinstall of the Spotify app on your PC? This will remove leftover data from previous installations that could be causing the issue. 

If you see no difference after the clean reinstall, check the hosts file for entries that need to be deleted. Follow the steps described here on how you can do that.

Additionally, could you ask a friend or a relative to log in to their account in your PC to check if the issue persists with a different account?
