My Question or Issue

Hello. I haven an issue where Spotify crackles whenever I open it and it happens only if I have Razer 7.1 surround sound as an output but when I switch back to the default output, and switch back to razer it fix itself. it takes some switches to resolve it. whenever I open Spotify, my other apps that are opened are affected and slows down, it sometimes become unresponsive. its been bothering me for weeks now and I think I might have an idea where it begun, a month ago I reinstalled windows, and it crackles for a bit, then it got worse, resulting to the issue I have now. I think I might Have similar issue with this person. I tried this fix and it works but it disables audio enhancement, making it sound like the default output.

Things I've tried:
Clean reinstalled Razer 7.1 surround sound and Spotify.

I'd like to keep 7.1 surround sound since I'm used to it.

I have the exact same headset and problem. Try switching audio output device and switching back, after a bit of time it should work normally.

Hey @Ace2626262626,

Thanks for reaching out.

Since you mention that this issue started when you reinstalled Windows, we'd suggest updating and/or reinstalling it again to see if it makes any difference.

In addition to that, have you tried using your headphones on another device? Does the same thing happen?

Lastly, if the above doesn't do the trick, could you send over a video where we can take a look at this behavior? You can attach it using the Insert Video option in the post editor, or you can upload it to another platform like YouTube or Google Drive and send a link to it. Make sure to remove any kind of personal info from it, and to give it the relevant permissions if you decide to upload it somewhere else.

We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

it seemed to have fixed itself now, I don't know how. I just reinstalled the razer app again but it sounds different, there's still a slight crackle when changing the Spotify volume but overall its fixed. sorry to bother you all, it just fixed itself.
