Spotify playlist in a bottle won’t work

Spotify playlist in a bottle won’t work

I try and load the link but it’s just a black screen, or the error message prompting me to refresh. I’m pretty sure my app is up to date and my wifi is working. Maybe the world and his wife are all on at the same time? My friend has had this issue too.

About the time capsule experience, playlist in the bottle, an option to remake a new playlist would be interesting. I've created the playlist and would like to change some of the songs I've chosen. The bad thing is that it can only open at the beginning of next year, it would be very interesting to include this option in the experience, and many people who made the same mistake might like it. I apologize if there are any errors in writing, I do not speak English fluently. Thanks!

could you let members get ONE re-do for our 2024 time in a bottle playlist please? 😉

I rushed! I chose 3 songs but one of them was definitely not the right song... ugh 😞

How about giving members just ONE chance to re-do their 2024 time bottle playlist - perhaps limiting this change to one time only 24 hours after first creating it?

mine won't finish sealing! guessing heavy traffiv

Spotify should let users UNseal or edit their Playlist in a Bottle. As right now we can't do anything about it and it really sucks because i can't listen to my personal favorite songs... i'm really not 100% happy about this, Spotify please fix this.

Thanks.

Hey there folks,

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.

Could you try to log out > restart your device > log back in to see if that makes any difference for you?

We'd also suggest that you go over this article to make sure that you've followed the exact steps on creating it. Additional information about Playlist in a bottle can be found there as well.

If you still experience issues with this, it might be caused by an issue with your device's cache. Not to worry, performing a clean reinstall of the app with the steps here should help you solve this. It'll get you the latest app version with all necessary updates and fixes and will remove any corrupted files from previous installations.

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.

My Question or Issue

So basically

there is this 2024 time capsule feature where you can store some songs in, which you can then listen to in

a year.

Basically i accidentally closed the Pop-Up for it and cant find any way of opening or finding it again.

As i would love to participate at this feature i would be really happy if someone could explain to me

how i can reopen the Popup and start selecting songs for the Time Capsule.

Greetings Daniel

Hey @JustDangel!

Thanks for coming to the Community. No worries, you can just head to spotify.com/playlistinabottle from your mobile device to encapsulate your music. Just make sure your Spotify mobile app is up to date with the latest version.

Hope that helps!

Note: I'm not a Spotify employee.

I thought that the playlist-in-a-bottle idea was really cool, but I don't have a phone. I discovered that you can't make it on the computer. This seems ridiculous, so I suggest that you make it usable on PC as well as on mobile devices.

Thank you!

My Question or Issue: it has been more than 30 minutes and my playlist hasn’t been sealed.

Its also my second attemp after updating the app so its not about the app being up to date. Why is this happening and is there anything ı can do to fix it?

I'd love to help, but I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. I've never heard of a "playlist in a bottle". Could you explain to me, please?

Hey : )

@kaworu_bloodpaw Playlist in a Bottle is a feature that's available in a select group of markets (countries). It's basically a time capsule feature where users answer some questions with a song of their choice, and then after it's sealed, they can't access the playlist until January next year.

@Zezey I would suggest trying on a different device to see if that helps. Also, try performing a clean reinstall, maybe there's something simply not right with the app's files. 🙂

Let me know how it goes!

Oh, cool. Where's it available? Is it a mobile-only thing?

Thank you for your reply. I think that it may have been because i tried to go from the google direct-sorry i dont know if i was able to explain that- because i couldnt find it in the app. Well the future just popped up again on my app in another device i tried it again and it worked this time in seconds. I was so ready for it not working and trying your advice but thankfully it was all good

@kaworu_bloodpaw It's a mobile only feature - see this Newsroom article for more info, including what countries it's available in 🙂

Glad to hear you got it sorted out @Zezey 🌟

My Question or Issue

I recently made a playlist in a bottle, but I chose the wrong songs is there any way I can change it?

im guessing im too late for the bottle thingy on spotify😭

The song I put in the capsule was accidentally pushed to me after I finished one album, and songs were freely roaming.

I heard about the playlist in a bottle feature from my friend a few days ago. However I can't find it anywhere and I really wanted to try it out if possible. I'm wondering if it's already too late though.
