My Question or Issue
Spotify will not load any images, be it album art, playlist covers, artists pictures etc.
I have already reinstalled Spotify, so I have the latest version as of now (1.1.60.672.g6ad9c215-a) but the problem persists.
It is not that album covers don't show, but that they are replaced by placeholder images. Example screenshot is attached.

There were problems at one of the cloud services earlier today, which caused (uncached) images to not show up.
Said issues have been resolved and things should be operating well.

I have the same issue, a lot of album covers aren't showing. My playlist pictures and profile picture are still there, but it's mostly album covers disappearing for me.
I too have that issue. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Spotify, but that made it worse. Now none of the images are showing. The same thing is happening in the web player and on my mobile player.

same here since at least vs 1.1.62.583 desktop mac os.
almost all thumbnails of albums residing in playlist folders disappear after 3 seconds simultaneously.
clean reinstall did not help!
webplayer or iOS version does not have this issue.
AND PLEASE RE-ADD THE PLAYLIST FOLDER INFOS (number of playlists etc.)
please fix soon in an upcoming update!

This process may vary depending on the device you're using. However, it's commonly related to some damaged cache stored on your device that might affect the proper behavior of the app. In this case, we'd first recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article.
If the issue persists, we'd also suggest trying on another device to see if it makes any difference.
