Spotify won't play a list of songs in order.

I looked up a particular song and got a bunch of hits. How do I play one instance after another? (Spotify seems to want to replay the current selection or play them in random order.)

Hi @DLF_!

Check if Shuffle/Repeat are activated and toggle them off:

Shuffle (1.) and Repeat (2.) found in the Now Playing View on the mobile app. When the buttons are highlighted in green it means they're toggled on.

On the desktop app / Web Player, the buttons are found in the play bar.

Note that the mobile app doesn't fully support on-demand playback for Free users (with the exception of up to 15 Pick & Play playlists found in the Made for You section), meaning you can only listen in shuffle mode. More info on the mobile app's experience for Free users here.

It's also worth checking if there are any leftover tracks in the queue from a previous listening session and removing them with the Clear queue button.
