My Question or Issue

switch to video option appears but buffers when trying to play videos on iPhone then gives a network error message after 30 seconds or so. But definitely no internet issues with home WiFi and Mac air works fine, plays videos when using this feature with no such issues.

Have tried every possible fix - toggling settings then logging out/back in aswell as full app reset. It has seem to have happened after another iPhone update but only appears to be Spotify app having issues.
Any help appreciated!
Cheers

Hey there @gzaczek,

Thanks for reaching out on the Community! And kudos for the troubleshooting you've tried 🙂

Just to make sure we cover all bases, could you try clearing stored cache as well (if you haven't already)? Once it's done, make sure to log out from the app again & then log back in. Completing these steps should resync your account info.

It's also worth checking for any updates to the Spotify app. You can do so by following the steps here. As you mentioned that this seems to have happened after an update, it's also a good idea to see if a newer version is available for your device's OS as well.

Should this behavior persist, however, it would be great if you could send us a screen recording or a photo showing how things look from your end when you're trying to play a video. If the files are too large to attach here in the Community, you can send them to us via Google Drive or as unlisted YouTube videos.

Let us know how you get on!
