Switching Distributors: Do we lose the release's likes/saves?

I'm an artist and currently in the process of transferring some of my catalog to a new distributor (the old distributor will no longer be offering distribution services so I have no option but to do this).

My releases have matched correctly and after a day, I noticed how it went from what seemed like a duplicated release, to the correct linked release that has the "1 more release" section. The stream counts and playlist position should be matching but I noticed that when I click on "1 more release" and go to the new release, Spotify removes my "saved" heart. So I am guessing this would be for all listeners not just me, the new "linked" release did not have the saves transferred it seems.

Is this this the case? When switching distributors for a release, there is no way to link saves/likes the same way playlist streams and playlists are matched? If so, that is super disappointing since there will be many people (like myself) who have the track on their "Liked Songs" and will not even be aware that they removed their save/like from my releases.
