I've noticed the same thing, esspetially with more popular songs. They tend to write somehing it japanese. But it got fixed for me after I updated my spotify. Are you up to date? Furthermore have your device?
Try dong things in this order till it works:
close the app, and reboot it
Restart your device
update spotify
update phone

And if it doesn't work, we'll hope itts just a bug in the code and that spotify releases a new update for you.

Hmm i tried all of the above and it didn’t work! Let’s hope for the fix in an update! And to answer your question is have a iPhone

Hey 🙂

I think it's the album metadata rather than a problem in code. It seems there are at least 2 versions of the album available, one of which has these foreign symbols (japanese?).

spotify:album:46VuziW5kL9Hrt5NlJtLjY:small with symbols
spotify:album:1OHFrZ1T34sjnqvy9Hqc4z:small without symbols.

(it seems that Aladdin and other ones don't have any albums without these symbols.)

It reminds me of Windows Media Player's 'media information updates', which suddenly got plagued by exactly the same kind of symbols. I had to turn it off and I have been editing local files manually since...

It's possible that the rightsholders want the people who understand that language to find the right album. I can't think of a better explanation. 🙂

Have a nice day!
