Why is the Iron Maiden album Brave New World not on here?

Why is the Iron Maiden album Brave New World not on here?

Spotify is also missing Dance of Death and A Matter of Life and Death, but I really don't care for those albums very much.

Spotify wants all the world's music, and they're working hard on making this happen for you. However sometimes agreements can’t be reached with the artist or label or a change may happen in music ownership.

Spotify adds thousands of albums and artists are added every day. If you can’t find an artist you’re looking for, they may appear (or reappear) soon. In the meantime, feel free to contact the artist or their label to ask when they plan to be on Spotify.

I understand that, and I am not dissatisfied with the service, for the most part (the lack of consistent integration of personal song files being one issue), but the question is specific while the answer was general.
Why is it, that ONLY one Iron Maiden album, of their entire collection, is missing. A Matter of Life and Death?
Is it the cover art? The Label? Certain geographic distribution rights?

I myself wondered the very same thing since the cover art depicted soldiers riding a tank. I would hope Spotify isnt being drawn into a narrative about being overly politically correct. I would reconsider my subscription if they have started sensored artists simply for their cover art or lyrical content. I consider 'Brave new world' 'A matter of life and death' and 'Dance of death' some of my favorite albums as i grew up listening to them.

Hello:

Seems the releases of Brave New World and Dance of Death have been available, and not available several times over the years on the Spotify service, at least from my listening region which is the US. I usually keep an eye on Iron Maiden's artist page of content, as I have an archive playlist of the band's available content to me. A Matter Of Life and Death was available, but has since not come back for a long while now. Luckily I have had the CD's of Brave and Dance, and a few other rarity releases for many years now of Maiden content, and I just add the content to my Iron Maiden archive playlist in local music file format. I might have to pick up A Matter of Life and Death somewhere second hand, and just add the content in local music file form to have access to it in my archive playlist, as that release has been missing for a long while now from the band's artist page on the Spotify service.

Some labels and artists split their available content across several music streaming services, not uncommon, this way of releasing content to streaming service has been a thing for many years now. Other artists will just choose exclusively only one streaming service to release content on, and other artists will release everything on all legal available forms. The ways music is released today is totally completely arbitrary up to the labels, artists, and other media provider services making music available on streaming services. But Brave New World, Dance of Death, and even A Matter of Life and Death releases have been available on CD for many years now, and second hand copies are easy to come by from local CD reseller outlets now. Not worth it to pay for multiple music services, when second hand copies of the CD releases can be picked up for 6 or 7 bucks a piece for just this one artist.

But this is just my views, who am I really? No one in the end. 🙂
