Will Uninstalling/Re installing Spotify cause me to lose saved playlists and folders?

Will Uninstalling/Re installing Spotify cause me to lose saved playlists and folders?

I'm running the latest version of Spotify on a Galaxy S23 (Android 14). I have rebooted phone several times. Premium Member.
If I uninstall and reinstall Spotify, will I lose my custom playlists, folders, etc.?

Hey @Karaptian, thanks for asking in the Community! 🎵

You don't have to worry about losing your library if you perform a reboot or re-install of the Spotify app. Your library is saved across platforms in your Spotify account. This lets you keep all your items in sync like saved playlists, albums, podcasts, etc.

For example: you can create folders using the Spotify Desktop App and they will be synced on all your other devices even after rebooting or re-installing the apps.

To know more, you can check out Your Library.

I hope that helps. Let me know if you need help with anything else. 🙂
