My Question or Issue

After I upgraded to Premium some albums and artists I had previously been playing on the free version have either disappeared or if I can see them will not play showing a circle with a red line through. Is this a coincidence or do I need to change some setting?

Hi @nhoughton53!

Could you share a screenshot which shows this in action? That way we can get a clear understanding of how things look on your end. Feel free to also let us know what troubleshooting you've done so far so we avoid repeat the steps.

In case you use several email addresses, It's possible that you have more than one Spotify accounts and you happened to upgrade to Premium on an account that you haven't been using recently. Try logging in with all email addresses you use to see if there's an existing account with them and check if the albums / artists are in your library.

Let us know how it goes. Cheers!

Hi, thanks for your reply. I've only got one account, but I think the
problem is that the artists in question have removed their content, I just
read about that. The 2 playlists I noticed were gone were Joni Mitchell and
Neil Young and I read they both removed their content. So it looks like it
was just a coincidence after all!
