My Question or Issue

There is an album I found via Google search. It exists in Spotify only if I click on that link. If I just search 君のいる町 on Spotify, this album does not appear. Furthermore, the songs are unavailable to play as shown in the attachment. Is this a regional restriction?

Hey @gctso,

Thanks for posting in the Community!

First off, we'd recommend that you check if you've blocked this artist in the past. Go to the artist's name and click on the three dot menu. If you've blocked it - you'll see the option "Allow to play this artist" , tap on it and test again if you can play the songs. Please make sure to use mobile device while doing this.

It's also possible that this artist's song were marked as "Don't play this'' at some point - and if that's the case you can follow the steps here to unmark it.

Lastly, if it's just a certain song or an album you can no longer play, it may have become unavailable in your country. This can happen because licensing agreements with the artist/labels, or ownership of rights, have changed. It's worth mentioning that availability can vary over time and between countries, however, Spotify works hard to constantly add music to its content database.

Keep in mind that new songs and podcasts are added to Spotify every day, so if you can’t find something you’re looking for right now, it may appear (or reappear) soon. Alternatively, you can always contact the artist or record label with your query as well.

Hope this helps. Take care 🙂
