Can't Login With Facebook Credentials

I recently rebooted an older Mac (running on Mac OS X 10.7.5) computer that I haven't used in a couple of years to use for music. I updated the spotify app and now when I try to login using my facebook credentials I receive an error that says, "Couldn't log in to spotify. There's a temporary issue with logging in to Spotify. Sorry about that!"

Is it because I am using older tech? Or is there something else going on? Please help! Spotify is lyfe.

You could try both clicking on the 'Log In With Facebook' button and enter credentials there, or entering your FB email and password to the Username and Password boxes.

Maybe if you log in to Facebook in the browser first so it stays logged in, then it could work as well?

If none of those work, then reinstalling Spotify could be useful here. 🙂
