Can't turn on High Quality Streaming

I am a premium user and can't turn on the High Quality Streaming Option. The option is there, but it won't let me turn it on. I'm a Mac user.

Just a quick question are you a premium subscriber or free account with ads? High Quality streaming option is a premium service feature.

I am a Premium subscriber (Family Plan — I’m the principal account, and the client indicates Premium, so it does recognize that).

Hello there and welcome to the community,

Try to log out Spotify and right back in. Then go to preferences and click the toggle to turn it on (green). It's not a slider. You have to click.

Ok try this, log out of the app, exit the app, and then relaunch the app, sign back into the app, and now go back to settings and change the option to for high quality streaming, does it allow you to change it now?

OMG!!!   With all the people having trouble trying to "turn on the High Quality Streaming Option" because it is not a "Slider" so you can't drag it over... because it has to be clicked.... what the hell.... Come on Spotify programmers!!! Make an update to fix this issue. Please!!! You should be able to "Drag" or "Click" this option... thanks.

I'm laughing at myself because I had the same problem moments ago. The abover users are correct in saying "click" the button do not slide
