My Question or Issue

I have thousands of songs in my Itunes. If I try to listen for a music in Spotify, that is in my Itunes, the player displays te following error:

"Sptofy can't play this right now. If you have the file on your computer you can import it".

How to solve this problem?

Hey there!

Check out this discussion, I think it might clear things up for you:

It seems like the ability to access iTunes files in Spotify doesn't work.

Hope this helps! Sorry it's not the best of news.

Thans for the reply!

But I don't want to import the songs from Itunes to Spotify, or sync my Itunes library to Spotify.

The issue is: if I have a song in Itunes, the same song doesn't play in Spotify. It must play, do you agree?

Example: song Master of Puppets, from Metallica. I have it in Itunes. If I try to play this song from Spotify Metallica's playlist, it don't work. It should, because I want to hear the song from Spotify, not Itunes.

@fredperes Okay got it!

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I understand what you mean now. That is quite a peculiar problem isn't it?

A couple things to maybe check, even if they sound kind of silly:

Is your computer online? You simply may not be able to stream the songs

Does Spotify need updated? That may be causing an issue as well
