This is just copying the post from https://community.spotify.com/t5/Desktop-Mac-old/Controlling-volume-when-casting-to-Chromecast-Audio... to the new Desktop (Mac) category.
I dont get an option to control the volume. Is this normal?
I can do it from my iPhone so it seems strange
UPDATE 2/8/18: This still doesn't work in Spotify. However a simple work around is to use the "Cast..." option in Chrome browser to change the volume of the device. To make it a bit more convient you can pin the Chrome Cast... icon to your chrome extensions area by selecting "Cast..." from the Chrome menu, then right-clicking on the cast icon that appears and selecting "Always show icon".
